My name is Rachel and I’m a Baltimore native living in my favorite little Virginia city, Charlottesville. I’m a wedding planner, interior design fanatic and Wanderluster always in search of a new horizon. I love cultivating the best life possible for myself and my loved ones and I love exploring and having new adventures. I love being sarcastic and not taking myself too seriously because none of us get out of this life alive and I find humor makes me feel better even in the darkest of moments.
As much as I would love to be one of those really sweet, streamlined, cohesive thought lifestyle bloggers, IT JUST AIN’T ME BABE! Although I can’t promise you a G rating or a cohesive line of thought for that matter, I can promise you some honest, REAL thoughts and opinions. When it comes to some of my favorite little hidden gem cafes locally or my favorite habits and activities when I travel it’s going to be how I feel in a brutally honest voice with a smattering of sarcasm. I’ll also probably post a lot about my dog and a general opinion of world happenings, and rarely when I’ve had a good amount of bourbon, some motivational pep talk that also might sound like something your caring yet distant mother who is emotionally stunted might coldly tell you before ending with a “I like what you’ve done with your hair”. Since it’s the only compliment she can muster because her parents survived the great depression and thought that coddling children made them weak and therefore susceptible to diphtheria.
